Dekiling
Dekiling Gewog, located in Sarpang Dzongkhag, is one of the largest gewogs in the district, both in area and population. The gewog is known for its warm subtropical climate, making it suitable for a wide range of agricultural activities. Farmers primarily cultivate crops like maize, paddy, vegetables, and areca nut, while citrus fruits such as oranges and lemons serve as key cash crops. The gewog also has a strong tradition of livestock rearing, particularly dairy farming, which contributes significantly to household incomes.

Institutions
Located 15kms away from Dzongkhag headquarter, the PHC is in Chhoekhorling village under Dekidling Gewog. It has five beds and is headed by a Sr. HA supported by three staff. The PHC was established in 2012.
Sprawling over 21-acre land 15kms away from Dzongkhag, the school was established in 2013 in Choekhorling under Dekidling Gewog. It was upgraded to MSS in 2020 and caters to the most populous Chiwogs of Choekhorling and Jigmeling under Dekiling Gewog.
Founded in 1999, the school sprawls over 9.31 acres of land 10kms away from Dzongkhag administration along the Sarpang-Gelephu highway. It was upgraded to LSS in 2009 and then to MSS in 2020.
Established in 1991, the school sits adjacent to the Police Training Institute (PTI) in Jigmeling. It provides primary education to our kids from PTI and Jigmeling Chiwog under Dekidling Gewog. The school is 18kms away from the Dzongkhag headquarter.
