Gelephu

Gelephu, one of the key towns and administrative hubs in Sarpang Dzongkhag, lies in the southern part of Bhutan bordering the Indian state of Assam. Strategically located along one of the country’s major trade routes, Gelephu serves as a vital economic and commercial center. The town is well-connected by road and also hosts one of Bhutan’s domestic airports, facilitating easier travel and trade.
