Sarpang Hospital serves as the main health care institution in the Dzongkhag. Located within Gelephu Thromde, it provides a wide range of essential and specialized medical services to the local population. It acts as the main referral center for all Primary Health Centers (PHCs) across Sarpang’s 12 gewogs. The hospital offers outpatient services, inpatient care, laboratory and diagnostic services, emergency response, maternal and child health, and minor surgical procedures. With improved infrastructure and a dedicated medical team, the hospital plays a key role in supporting Bhutan’s national health goals.
