The Dzongkhag Administration and Gelephu Thromde coordinated a consultation meeting on roll-out plans for the conduct of Training of Trainers (
) on Zero Waste Bhutan app (ZW Bhutan) today at Dzongkhag Tshogdu meeting hall. ZW Bhutan app is a mobile application which shall assist in systematic recording, tracking and enforcement for offences related to waste.
The meeting was graced Dasho Dzongdag, Venerable Lam Neten, Dasho Thrompoen, Dasho SSP, Dasho Dzongrab, Dasho Dungpa, Gups, officials from regional offices and sector heads.
The main objective of the meeting was to build common consensus among different stakeholders on how to kickstart the program and garner supports during the implementation of roll-out plan.
The meeting was attended by close to 70 participants from different agencies and offices in Sarpang Dzongkhag.
The Dzongkhag Administration, Gelephu Thromde and DeSuung Office shall conduct series of trainings and awareness program in latter part of this month.
