Joint Sector Review Visit |

District Environment Committee hosted a meeting led by Dasho Dungpa on 12th September 2008 at 3pm with the representatives of Danida, LOD, GNH Commission who was led by Elsebeth Trap, Technical Assistance advisory service, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Denmark in DYT Hall, Sarpang.
Dzongkhag Environment Officer presented the DEC mandated and its activities, role and the number of environmental clearance issued during the year 2007-2008.He also presented about the clean Dzongkhag Award Project.
The team discussed about the Environmental and Climate changes issues of the Sarpang Dzongkhag.
The team also visited Gelephu and Dekiling Gewog.
