Doban

Background
Doban is the most remote gewog of the Dzongkhag. It has total area of 251 Square kilometer with 8 Chiwogs and 21 villages. It has a total population of 4105 with 419 households. Rice and maize is the main cereal crop grown by the farmers in Doban gewog. Since it is located far from the Dzongkhag headquarter and other Gewogs, farmers don’t produce surplus products.
